Good Afternoon!
So this week was pretty cool. Me and Sister Cook have been working super hard and have been really trying to find, teach and baptize!! We have been doing a lot of finding this week and I have really enjoyed it most of the time... I still don't like the rain though. That will not change! Haha :)
We started this week off with a nice, relaxing P-Day followed by Zone Meeting on Tuesday!
I love Zone Meeting! I just like seeing all the other missionaries. We have some really cool missionaries that have moved into our zone and it was really cool chatting with them. And obviously it was awesome to see all those who stayed in the zone for this transfer. We have a really cool zone. We also have the best Zone Leaders! They are super awesome and I always learn so much from them! They really know what they are doing and they really love the work. They take care of the zone really well too.
We talked a lot about Church attendance and prayer in Zone Meeting and it really reminded me that Prayer is just amazing and such a privilege. I am so grateful that I get to talk to my Father in Heaven any time and any place. It really is a gift to us. And we are truly blessed to be able to attend church and to partake of the sacrament. I love Jesus Christ and I am forever grateful for the sacrifice that He made for me. I wish that there was some way that I could repay Him!
We taught an investigator about Jesus Christ's Atonement this week and she said that she would rather someone not do something like that for her and not suffer pain for her. It made me realize just how grateful I am that I don't have to suffer the pain that Christ did. I wish that He did not have to suffer for me but I will forever be indebted to Him and I want to strive to make it up to Him every day of my life, even though nothing I could do would ever amount to what He has done for me. I know that He loves me and that He suffered for me so that I could be happy and return to live with Him and my Father in Heaven for all eternity with my family!
This week we have a baptism!! It is so exciting! She has been waiting for a very long time for this and I am privileged to be one of the missionaries that is going to be there when she gets to enter into the waters of baptism. We have been teaching her almost everyday and she is doing so well. She just gets everything that we are teaching her and is able to teach it all back to us at the end of the lesson. She really loves Church and the Gospel and I know that she is going to love it even more once she is baptized. Every time that we talk about her baptism she gets the biggest smile on her face and she looks like she wants to burst with happiness. It is awesome! We watched a talk from President Monson with her last night and it was one of my favourites, "Stand In Holy Places" from October 2011 General Conference. After the talk finished all she said was, "Wow. That was, wow." The spirit in the room was so strong and I honestly had to stop myself from crying. I got such a powerful witness during the talk that just told me again that President Monson really is a prophet of God.
I love listening to the Prophet and the Apostles! They are just so inspired and their words can just bring the spirit to any place. They really do touch the heart and they can answer the questions that we have.
Funny story of the week:
So we were GQing in one of our town centers this week and this man came up to us and started to talk to us. He was asking us if we were selling the church and then he asked if he could buy the church. We were like um, no but we share a message about Jesus Christ. Then he started to ask us what drugs we were on and was listing a few of them to us. We assured him that we were fine and continued to talk about Joseph Smith. Next he was asking us if we needed him to call a doctor for us. We were like, " well you have a good day." It got really funny when he started shouting after us that he would call a doctor for us and that we really needed help. People were watching and staring so we just waved at a couple of them and were like, "Hi, how are you?" We were both laughing so hard. Poor man, we think he was pretty stoned though.
We were also teaching this man on the street and first of all he told us that he lives in a Psychiatric hospital. We sat on a bench teaching him and it was going really well, we shared a book of Mormon with him and then he just got up said, "well it was lovely chatting with you," and ran away. We sort of stared after him as he went, not really knowing what to say to each other.
There were a lot of fun people out this week. And apparently, everyone knew Sister Cook and she had no clue who any of them were... Awkward much!
We had one of our investigators at church this week which was fun! She really enjoyed and she was writing a list of questions throughout the meetings which we are so looking forward to answering, or giving her BoM chapters to find the answers for herself. They were all really good questions and they show real interest and desire to learn more.
Well we have some good things planned for this week so I am really looking forward to it. Keep Mary in your prayers so that she will be able to be baptized this week! We have no reason why she couldn't be but you know what the adversary is like, she's already been held back for 2 years!
Take care all and pray for missionary experiences! This work is moving forward and we all need to do our part!

Love you all!!!
