Hello people!
So this week was one of those weeks where you just work and work and work and have nothing to show for it! It was really hard to see our numbers when we were adding them up. I know it's not about numbers but when we knew how much effort we had put in, it was just gutting to have to tell our leaders 'hey we only got this, this and this, sorry.' We tried so hard this week and we were doing everything that we could. It just sucked because we would have some good solid GQ's with awesome people, set up return appointments and then get flogged! We had like 25 flogged appointments this week! So sad! But Sister Cook makes me shake it off (literally) and we go back to work! Nothing is going to stop us from baptising all of Wales!!! Woop woop!
So not much exciting this week unfortunately. We found this awesome new investigator named Matthew and we had a really good lesson with him! Then the next day he text us and dropped us! We were so gutted, especially after being on such a high after the lesson with him!
We also had exchanges this week which was great. I love Sister Williamson! We have such fun together and I can tell that she really cares about me and wants me to be the best missionary that I can. Funny story, So we were GQing in Carmarthen and we stopped this lady and asked her what she thought the real meaning of Christmas is. she then says, "Christmas is the birth of out Lord Jesus Christ, May God bless you," taps Sister Williamson on the shoulder and walks away. We were laughing so hard and it was way funnier than I made it sound... Promise!
I also had to give a talk this Sunday in Sacrament meeting. I was really struggling to know what to say and then I prepared my talk got up and didn't say anything that I had written down! I was so nervous because I realised that I wasn't saying anything like what I had written and then needed to stay on topic! Sister Cook says it was good so I will trust her :)
Zone Meeting was this week and that was really good as well. It was all about the Christmas Initiative, He Is the Gift! If you haven't seen the video then watch it. It is only about 3 minutes long! It is so powerful though. Every time I watch it I feel the Spirit so strong. And President promised us that every time we watch it, we will learn something new. What a great promise! Share the video with everyone on facebook, twitter etc. And use the hashtag #SharetheGift This is a worldwide initiative and it is so exciting. Christmas.mormon.org
Well I best be off, I have places to be, people to see and souls to save!
Just a short one this week I am afraid but I'll add pictures :)
Love you all
