General Conference was amazing!I think this has been my favourite conference yet! These general authorities know what they are talking about! I learnt so much from conference and I cannot wait for the ensign to come out so that I can read them and study them all. I have actually downloaded the audio version of some of the talks so that I can listen to them when I am at the flat in the mornings or in the evenings. Technology is so helpful :)
I think the most important thing that I learnt from Conference is that as long as we are trying, that is all that we can do. It may not be a perfect offering as a missionary; but it is my offering. And it is the best that I can do. I know that as I try to follow Jesus Christ to the best of my ability, I am doing the best that I can and I am doing what He needs me to do. It doesn't matter whether my offering is less than others, as long as it is the best that I can give. I know that I can always grow and improve but I also know that I am trying each and every day to be better so that when I come home to you all in 10 months, I can say that I gave the best offering that I could.
I love this Gospel so much and I am so grateful for the blessing that it is in my life. I am privileged to be able to hear the Prophets and Apostles speak to me personally. I am so grateful for the messages that they shared and for the lessons that I have learnt from this conference and from previous conferences. I know without a doubt that we have a living Prophet on the earth today. That he does receive divine revelation from our Father in Heaven and that when we follow His counsel and the counsel of the Apostles and other General Authorities, we are on the right path home.
I know it isn't much this week but it is what I wanted to share with you all. If you didn't get a chance to watch conference, do. There is so much to learn from it and the spirit is so strong.
I love you all so much!
P.S. Photos this week!! We went on exchange with Sister Stone and Sister Pickett! They are awesome! I went with Sister Pickett to Harborne! We had a blast. :) :)
