Woah, it is the last full week of this transfer! And on Friday, I reach my 3 month mark! It has been a pretty fast 3 months! Before you know it I will be saying that I come home in 3 months!!
So this week... Where do I start with this week?
Not much has happened this week again but I will tell you some of the key things that I have done or experienced.
We had a great District Meeting this week. We talked about expectations and how we will achieve the numbers that we expect. So if we expect to reach high goals, we will and vice versa with low goals. It was really good and we talked about how we can increase our expectations. I think it will really improve our finding and also our teaching. We had the zone leaders there too and they always have some great things to tell us. They are both super fun too and it always great to be around other missionaries.
Saturday... this was an interesting day. So we had an appointment with some investigators so we went to their house. First thing is that they were in bed I think. Then they invited us in and we sat down. Then they were running around getting ready to go to church. They are Seventh Day Adventists. We were sat in their house for way longer than we expected. We went there thinking that we were going to be teaching them a lesson. Then we ended up on our way to their church... I don't even know what happened. We had been invited there after our last lesson but we thought that we were just going to see them for a lesson. We started to drive behind them and then they were heading out of our area and we got worried. So we text the zone leaders and got a call from them almost instantly. We had an interesting phone call and in the end we just had to text them to let them know if we were going out of our area. We called the guy and he wouldn't tell us the name of the town so we had to guess. If it was out of area we would have had to drive straight back in the opposite direction.
We ended up at their church. It was a really interesting experience. We were not there for our investigators that is for sure. We have since dropped them. It was great though to experience things from the investigators point of view. We got to really analyse the things that an investigator experiences when coming to church for the first time.
We also met an amazing family and the Dad knows about the church, has read the Book of Mormon in croatian and still has it in his home! We realised as we left that they were the reason that we were at the church that day! The Lord works in mysterious ways... sometime really really really mysterious ways.
We also had conference this weekend which was very cool. There were some awesome speakers! I really got a lot from the talks in both theSaturday and Sunday sessions.
And the missionaries sung with the YSA on the Sunday. It was a really beautiful song that we sung! I loved it. I was in my element! haha. We also got to see President and Sister Rasmussen because they spoke in both the sessions.
It was a really good weekend and I really felt the Spirit during conference :)
I don't have much more to say except that I love you all and I will let you now whether I stay or go on Monday!
Love You all!!!!!!!!!
