This week has been another good one. We've got really wet, really cold and really tired hahah. But it has been really good. We were able to see a lot of our investigators this week and we were also able to contact some Less Actives in the ward. This is something that we want to focus on more in our missionary work - working with the Less Active members - as we know that we need the ward to be strong so that they can help to retain any new people that we bring in. The ward is amazing here though, I love it!
We were able to do service this week, we helped to set up for a baby shower! haha! It was fun! And it looked so cute. We were able to come for a little bit of it too. It was at the same time as weekly Basketball and we had an investigator there so we were jumping between the two of the activities. I had a good night though.
We also had a really good District Meeting this week. We were joined by President and Sister Leppard and their son Tom. It was really great! President and Sister Leppard gave some wonderful training. I learnt so much from them. I love them so much! I sure will miss them!
President gave some really great training about the Atonement. He just really simplified it for us. I am so grateful for our Saviour and all that He did for us! He took upon Him everything that I have ever felt that has caused me to feel sorrow or pain. He felt every temptation that I have felt, He felt every sickness. And most importantly He took upon Him all my sins! And boy am I so imperfect. It baffles me to think about how much pain He suffered for me alone. Then I think that He experienced that for every single one of the people who have been on the earth, who are on the earth now and who have yet to come to earth. It is amazing and so wonderful to think of the love that Jesus Christ, our Brother, our Saviour, has for us. It brings me so much comfort to know that because of Him I can be with my family for all eternity in the presence of my Heavenly Father. I was recently telling Sister Beazer that the thing that I am looking forward to the most is the day when I can see my Saviour and just be able to hug Him and feel His love!
A member of the ward gave us some cool Harry Potter stuff this week because they love Harry Potter and they know that we love it too!! One of those things was a ticket to Hogwarts... It's the best thing! I don't care how nerdy that sounds...
Well we are going to have to get going soon. We are going over to Caerphilly Castle! And who are we going with you may ask... Only the amazing Sister Woolsey!! Love that girl!
Never forget that Heavenly Father loves you and wants the best for you. He knows what that is even if we don't see it as that!
I love being a missionary. I never want to finish my mission!
Oh by the way, enough with the Trunky Emails! As far as I am concerned I have like a year left!
Love you all!!!
