Hello!
So not much to say this week I am afraid. It has been a weird one.
I injured myself this week...
On Thursday we were on a split while Sister Reed went to her Sister's Memorial and I went to the Zone Meeting in Swansea. Her and Sister Appleby were about 2 hours later than they should've been so it was about 8:15 or so when we left Merthyr where the Sister Training Leaders live. The car was parked in a dark alley so I couldn't really see anything apart from the lights of the car. I have to back the car obviously because I don't drive and Sister Reed stooped the car right next to a BIG pot hole that was like half a foot deep. I didn't see it... My foot went right on the edge and slipped, twisted and I fell. Sister Reed thinks it's hilarious.
It was super painful in the car and then when we got back to the flat, I couldn't put any weight on it because it was so painful. I was terrified! But I just closed my eyes and literally said, "Heavenly Father please just get me up the stairs and into the flat!" Almost instantly I could put just enough wait on it to get me inside! It is all ok now, still hurts a bit, but I can walk fine and it just feels bruised. Sister Reed loves getting me to tell the story and she just laughs.
Thursday was a really cool day though. We had Zone Meeting which I just loved! The main topic of Zone meeting was Love. We need to love everyone that we talk to. We need them to feel our love when we speak with them and when we share the gospel with them. We have great Zone Leaders who were the perfect people to deliver this message to us. I couldn't have thought of two better people to teach it.
After Zone Meeting, we had lunch and then practiced a song for Stake Conference. It is a really beautiful song but it is super high! Me and one of the Sisters in Swansea, had to teach a group of Elders our part and neither of us really knew the song. But I think we did ok. We all seemed to get it mostly. I am looking forward to Stake Conference, especially seeing the other missionaries again.
Then I got a blessing from Elder Lowe (one of the zone leaders) and it was wonderful! It was such a beautiful blessing and it was exactly what I needed. It really increased my testimony of the Priesthood. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Priesthood here upon the earth and I know that it really is the Power of God.
This is the true Church upon the Earth and there is no where I would rather be than serving a mission and sharing my testimony with others. I have a loving Heavenly Father who knows me and loves me for all my weaknesses and failings. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is my Saviour!
I love and miss you all!!!!!
