Another week has come and gone in the far away land of Wylde Green! And we're still alive, still laughing and, of course, still causing havoc :) and obviously, we're still doing missionary work!
We've had a pretty good week this week. Well we got cancelled on quite a bit, but we also had some really great opportunities and lessons. We also had a really good Zone Meeting/Conference thing with President and Sister Leppard this week too. :) and the follow up trainers meeting which we helped out with. Oh, and we went to a wedding to end the week! Just a typical week for the helpful Wylde Green Sisters. Actually this is a pretty quiet week. You should see our planners for the next 2 weeks! Busy busy!
Our zone meeting was really good. We talked a lot about keeping the Sabbath day holy and about helping other people to come to church. It is a topic that we have really been focusing on a lot in all of our meetings. It's so awesome to see how the training that we receive really is inspired. Then we got to have dinner as a zone too. And to our surprise President Leppard joined us. He always seems to show up when me and Sister Rasmusson start to laugh and giggle rather uncontrollably.
Wednesday was cool, I got to see my baby! And oh my gosh it was so cool. The surprise on her face was fantastic! And we talked and we kept hugging and talking some more. I do love my baby! We're going to have so much fun after the mission! Woohoo:)
So now I shall tell you about Saturday. We got to back to Woodsetton!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about awesome! We had permission from President to go back for a wedding. And so we definitely took the opportunity to go. On the train over there, we were sitting nicely, minding our own business and then on comes a hen party! They were sat around us and at 9:30am they were breaking out the alcohol... They even offered some to us...
After we got into Sedgley we decided to stop by the flat and see of the Sisters were there. So we rang the bell and Sister Woolsey answered. "Hello?!" "HELLO!" "AAAHH!!!" The phone goes down and the door at the top of the stairs flies open as we go up! Then Sister Lee was super excited to see me too! It was awesome! There was a lot of hugging and squealing!
The wedding itself was lovely! The bride and the bridesmaids looked beautiful, there were loads of ward members there and he food was good too:) Everyone's reactions at the fact that we were A, there and B, that we were companions, was really funny. I'm not sure it was what was expected hahahahaha. After the wedding we stayed and mingled and en we walked around Sedgley for a little bit, which was rather surreal, then we headed back to home again.
I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to serve a mission. I am grateful for all the places I have been to and for the people that I have been able to meet. I would never have all the amazing friends that I have if I had never chosen to serve. I am so excited to see what the next few months bring and I am looking forward to meeting even more people that I can share the gospel with. I know this church is true! I know it with all my heart and I absolutely love this work that I am a part of.
Have an awesome week!
Love you!!!!
