Sister Gaffney and Sister Williamson
Hello all!
Well I am still here! Still going strong. I am totally motivated for this week and I told the Elders that this will be our best week yet! I am definitely going to try with that!
So this week we had interviews with President which was cool. I love him and Sister Rasmussen and I think they are wonderful! They are both super inspired. It was really nice to just sit and talk with them. I really enjoyed it and they both said some things to me that I really needed to hear. It was great to get to see the other missionaries too. We have a really good group here and I love each one of them.
It was my District Leaders birthday on the day of interviews so we made some crazy things for him. It was a lot of fun. I will add pictures!
We also had exchanges this week. Sister Williamson is the best! We had so much fun and did a lot of finding. I was really glad that we did the finding because our area needed it. We also got 2 new investigators out of it who we got to teach this weekend. We played bingo as we were finding which was fun. It makes a long amount of finding much easier and much more fun and rewarding. I want to do a lot more finding too.
We also went and got Hot Chocolate as a little reward and we were chatting about how things are going for me at the moment. It was very relaxed and it was really needed!
We also had a dinner appointment with an awesome family!
We had a couple of lessons this week and really saw the Lord's hand in His Work.
When me and Sister Williamson were finding, we came to a crossroads in the town centre. Sister Williamson asked me which way I thought we should go. I wanted to say one way but the Spirit was telling me another. We were walking down the road and we spoke to this guy who happened to be less active! We never would have found him otherwise! Miracle! We went back to see him on Sunday and had a short lesson with him. It was so good!
Oh and on Monday we got a lovely surprise from the Elders in our District. They called us and told us to be at the chapel so we went stright there and they were waiting outside. They had brought us flowers and a card and then they made us chocolate brownie milkshakes! They were trying to cheer us up obviously... and it worked! They are so cool.
Not so long this week I am afraid! But I will attach pictures to make up for it haha.
Love you all and miss you!!!!
