So this week has been a little different, I now have a new companion who happens to be my mission grandma! She trained Sister Muhlmann and she goes home after this transfer. So I will get to stay another transfer in Newcastle Emlyn after this one! Adjusting to the change in companions has been hard but I know that it will happen many times throughout my mission so it's ok. I can do it.
On Monday we went with a family in our ward to a small seaside town called... Newquay. We went and had fish and chips for dinner and then we taught them a short Family Home Evening. It was really fun and beautiful there! It was a really great evening that we were lucky to have before Sister Muhlmann left. That evening we got the call that Sister Muhlmann was leaving. She is now in Eastwood near Nottingham so that she will be nearer to better Doctors and nearer to the mission home. I will get to see her at Christmas Conference and possibly at the mission home before then. Both out companions go home after this transfer so we will possibly bump into each other when our companions have their final interview with President or at Transfers we might see each other.
On Tuesday we just focused on working hard and seeing our investigators and Recent Convert so that she could say goodbye. It was a really good day and we felt good when we got home... Then she started to pack and we got sad. :(
Wednesday was transfer day. Sister Muhlmann had to get on the coach from Cardiff with a bunch of other missionaries and go up to the mission home whilst I stayed with 2 other Sisters and the Elders for the day. We worked in Cardiff during the day. It was enrolment week this week so the Elders had a table up along a road near the university where they were talking to people. We went up to help them and it was crazy! There was us and I think 6 Elders there. We spoke to loads of people! Just between the 3 of us Sisters, we got 17 potential investigators who all gave us their numbers because they wanted to know more. Students are just ace! We have a not so good uni in our area but we are going to try and contact a lot of students up there. It is a really small uni so we will have to see how it goes.
On Thursday we drove up to the University Town, Lampeter, but it was a horrible wet day and we didn't have much success. None of our potentials were there, even our golden one has now left the area! Sad times!! But we ploughed on until the evening. We then had some service doing some painting! It was so much fun! We had a good time and it was great to get to know the family more and then we went Visiting teaching. They were talking a lot about politics and the news etc so most of it just went over my head. I didn't really know what to say haha. But it was a good evening none the less.
Friday was a good day, we did some finding and taught one of our investigators. It wasn't a bad day! We had a ward activity in the morning and we made a vegetable creation thing (I say 'we' but It was really a family that we were sat with and we supervised). We also made a collage thing that actually consisted of me and one of the young women and one of the ysa just throwing colourful rice and things onto a paper of glue! We had fun even if it did make quite a mess.
Saturday we helped some members move house. We were cleaning the house and me and one of the ysa were just having such a giggle. We kept finding spiders and may have screamed and squealed a little... Or a lot. But it is ok. I am still alive. We then went out for lunch and after did some finding! We got a couple of potentials before we went home.
Sunday was a bit of a slow day. Church was great. It was the Primary Presentation and I just thought it was awesome. They were so cute and the Spirit just radiated from them. The rest of the day was pretty slow but we made it to the end.
Well I will send pictures today too!!
Love you all!!!
