Hola!
First off, I am so sorry that I didn't write an email last week and that I was totally lame and just sent pictures! My bad! But I'm doing a proper email now and I have left myself plenty of time to make sure that I write a good one.
Well I am back in England! Yay! I am currently serving in the Woodsetton ward and my main proselyting area is Dudley. And yes I am definitely perfecting my Dudley accent. I can say Dudley Bus Station perfectly!!
I am in a Tri-panionship with Sister Pascua Duzon and Sister Sorensen. Sister Pascua Duzon was born in the Philippines but she moved to Spain when she was little. Sister Sorensen is from Washington State in the USA! So it's a different Sister Sorensen to my MTC companion.
They are so cool! All we do is laugh together. Oh and eat together! We eat a lot. But we cook a lot so it is really fun. We have made some really good meals so far. I'm not going to lie, I make a pretty dang amazing Pasta Bake! I was super impressed with it actually. But Sister Pascua Duzon is a much better cook than I and she just throws stuff together! I am really enjoying cooking though. I am going to have to make them Spaghetti Bolognese soon.
President informed me this week that we will probably be in our trio for the full transfer! SO that will be super fun. I just can't wait to see what crazy things we get up to.
So this week I started doing something pretty cool. I have a little pocket diary that I bought and each day I am writing down a Miracle. It was actually something that Sister Sorensen said about and I really liked the idea. I am really enjoying doing it because it makes me look for the good things and tender mercies of the Lord in each day. This week I have truly been able to see the blessings of the Lord here. I truly have felt so blessed since I have been here in Woodsetton.
We have been working really hard this week and we have found some amazing people. This is a pretty tough area but one of the things that President has been focusing on this week is raising our expectations. I will be honest, when I first got here, having come from a really tough area in Wales, I was a little worried about how low their goals and expectations were for this area. But we have done a lot of finding this week and we have got 5 new investigators! And they are all pretty solid ones too! and we beat our goal for the amount of lessons we wanted to teach. So during weekly planning this week, we set some pretty stretching goals! But we know that with Faith in our Father in Heaven, we will be able to reach our goals and hopefully we will be able to exceed them!
Well this afternoon we are meeting up with our District for a picnic and afternoon in the park so we are going to have to run off and get some groceries for the week!
I know that we have a loving Father in Heaven who sent His only begotten Son here to earth so that we could one day return to live with Him again! I have felt the Saviour's love in my life and I know that he carries me through on a regular basis. If we trust in Him, we will be able to get through anything.
I love you all and hope that you have an awesome week!
