Hello :)
So we got our miracle this week!
At the beginning of the week the Zone Leaders set us the challenge of finding that one person to put on a baptismal date. We worked really hard this week to reach that goal and it has been a real focus of our week. By Thursday, nothing was really happening. Then we followed the spirit and went down this back lane where we stopped this lady. She was amazing! Totally golden and loves the idea of the Plan of Salvation and the three kingdoms.
We set up an appointment for the next day and when we went to see her, she wasn't there. We decided to stop by the next day but she was still not in.
Yesterday after our dinner appointment, we decided that we would stop by a current(ish) investigator and see if we could teach them a lesson. But we felt we should stop by this lady one last time. She happened to get home just as we arrived at her block of flats!! She invited us in and we taught her a lesson. She loved it and was so excited. Then we asked her if she would be baptized and she said yes!! Then we put her on a date... the 29th November.
It was a total miracle and we were so grateful! I am on a high and I look forward to continuing to teach her.
The rest of the week was pretty samey. We taught some lessons, saw some less-actives and we wrestled for chocolate. Sort of wrestled.
Today was district p-day and we had a blast! It was awesome and we played games and went to the beach and I even had a pasty for lunch! It was a fake pasty though, totally not up to good enough standards to be called a Cornish Pasty.
Sorry this is so short this week! I am rushing!
But I love all of your emails and all though I don't get a chance to repsond to them all, I love to read them and hear about what is going on back home.
Love you all so much!!!
